Cookie policy
Which cookies this site sets, what each one is for, and how to turn off the ones that aren't essential.

This policy explains how URL Flow, a product of Flowpera.com, uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our privacy policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Cookies are what let a site recognise your browser between page loads — which is how you stay signed in instead of logging in on every click. Similar technologies such as local storage do much the same job, and this policy covers those too.
Cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories:
| Category | What it does | Can you refuse it? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in, remembers your session between pages, and protects forms against automated abuse. | Cannot be switched off — the service stops working without them. |
| Functional | Remembers small preferences so the interface behaves consistently when you come back. | Optional. Blocking these costs convenience, not access. |
| Analytics | Helps us count visits to short links and articles, and detect automated traffic. Visit records use a hashed IP address, never a raw one. | Optional in regions where consent is required. |
| Advertising | Set by advertising partners, including Google, to select ads and limit how often you see the same one. | Optional. You can opt out of personalised ads at any time. |
Advertising cookies
We display advertising on our content pages, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising through:
- Google Ads Settings — controls personalisation across Google's ad products.
- aboutads.info — opt out of many third-party vendors at once.
- Network Advertising Initiative — a similar industry-wide opt-out.
Opting out stops ads being personalised. It does not remove advertising from the site, and it does not affect what you earn from your own links.
Third parties that may set cookies
- Google AdSense — advertising selection, frequency capping, and fraud prevention.
- Our hosting and security providers — protecting the site against attacks and routing traffic efficiently.
These parties set their own cookies under their own policies. We don't control them, and we can't read the data they collect.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you see stored cookies, delete them, and block new ones — usually under settings named Privacy, Cookies, or Site data. You can also browse in a private window, which clears everything when you close it.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in, so you won't be able to reach your dashboard or request a withdrawal. Blocking the other categories is safe.
Do Not Track
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal, but there is no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to it. We do not currently change our behaviour based on that signal. The opt-out links above are the reliable way to control personalised advertising.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when the cookies we use change — for example if we add or remove an advertising partner. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
